VERSE 1
It must be nice to be a bug
You either live or die, who knows whether
You’re gonna live through tomorrow night
It’s good that bugs have no concept of time
I think that life’s so simple there
You’re either killing or you’re being killed
By someone much bigger than you
And they’d be much tougher and stronger too
And all the ladies look so nice
That’s when they’re not trying to eat you up
So I’ll just run away and fear
And go back to my home under a rock
But now I’m hungry for something
Something that moves or some fresh greenery
And its big dangerous world
For an insect just as small as me
PRECHORUS
It’s simple and yet so very dangerous
I’m trying to get a point of view on the
Forest floor and that ant says to me
There’s someone who can help you around
So we all shout
CHORUS
All Hail, All Hail Carlos
He may be small but he can jump real high
And his family is big just like his courage
We all ask to Carlos:
“Could you leave us weaker bugs in peace?”
Because we know that he’s so frightening
VERSE 2
It isn’t easy being small
With all these legs it gets so tiresome
And in this frightening forest game
There’s only one big bug who takes control
Oh, do you all know who he is?
He reigns supreme all over my city
To all the bugs he says “Hello!”
But does he really mean “Goodbye to you all!”?
And so his troubling tirade grows
And if you try to say he drags your nose
And then throws it in a ditch
I can’t believe he’d do that, what a-
We should start a revolution now!
All the spiders say we’ll stay at home
Although I want to go outside
And see the giant world that’s full of crime
PRECHORUS
CHORUS
VERSE 3
I think that I might go insane
I cannot find a place I can call home
Without it being quickly squashed
Why did I come down to here anyway?
I say to Carlos, “Please help me!”
He tells me there’s a way I can escape
But there’s no way of coming back
The solution’s here in this very snack
I can be human once again
Back to four limbs and two eyes as well
And then when I’m all fully sized
Carlos will see me and will run away
Because I’ve got the power now
Stupid Carlos cannot resist this
I’ve got a weapon known as shoe
Nobody’s questioning and answering to you
PRECHORUS
CHORUS x2
